We’re very proud of BTCSoftware Director, Ian Katté. He’s been steadily growing a beard throughout December to raise money for a great charity – Beating Bowel Cancer.
The Charity supports and campaigns on behalf of everyone affected by bowel cancer. It provides practical and emotional help – on the phone, digitally and face to face. It also runs the UK‘s only nurse-led specialist helpline for bowel cancer which patients call a ‘lifeline’.
This is a charity very close to Ian’s heart as a family member was recently diagnosed with the cancer.
So as the days turned chilly Ian threw away the razors and started on a ‘hair-raising’ month to generate funds for this vital cause.
We’re very impressed with his evolving new look, especially as he says it’s the first beard he’s had since being an undergraduate and it’s rather itchy!! In fact we’re wondering if the beard will be as impressive as Santa Claus’s come Christmas Eve.
