As part of the support for our 2015 chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation, BTCSoftware Directors – Rob Ellis and Ian Katté are busily preparing for the Charity’s London to Brighton bike ride this weekend (21st June).
The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s number one heart charity and, through 50 years of funding cutting edge research, continues to make a big difference to people’s lives. We think they do a great job and are delighted to support this bike ride to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity.
In fact 2015 marks the 40th year of the 54 mile London to Brighton bike ride and, alongside thousands of other participants, Ian and Rob will leave the buzz of the City behind them and cycle through country lanes descending into what (we hope) will a triumphant finish by the sea!
We understand both Rob and Ian have been very committed to their training of late and we’re very impressed!!
Both of them have been cycling 35 miles every Saturday as part of their training programmes. Their training plans also include regular training rides during the week (sometimes cycling to/from work) and in Rob’s case using an exercise bike at home in his spare time. We’re convinced that all this will put them in great shape for the big day.
