At a glittering reception at The Barbican in London last night, BTCSoftware won the award for Best Tax Software. This award was voted for by the AccountingWEB community and the BTCSoftware team is naturally delighted with the sheer volume of support it received – it was the most shortlisted software developer at the event.

BTCSoftware began life in 1999 when it was founded by Rob Ellis and CFO, Ian Katté. Business Development Director, Paul Oldridge, joined the company in 2006 and since then it has grown to a sizeable team.

Responsive to the latest changes
BTCSoftware has always adapted quickly to changes in tax and accounting legislation. Over the past 2-3 years it has been one of the developer community closely working with HMRC’s Digital team on the APIs for Making Tax Digital. It has also recently launched a Cloud version of its product suite.
