Corporation Tax
For accountants supporting clients with their Corporation Tax (CT) submissions, don’t forget BTCSoftware’s CT module delivers built-in iXBRL tagging to facilitate a smooth integration with HMRC’s systems.
We also recognise that some accountants’ clients often provide pre-tagged accounts to complete their Corporation Tax returns. Our software has therefore been designed to support third-party iXBRL accounts too for submission to HMRC.
It means that you need no technical knowledge or additional apps to stay compliant with HMRC’s requirements. Our software has templates which already have the IXBRL tagging built in to them. These ensure you and your client stay compliant with HMRC rules and requirements
Whether your clients’ accounts come to you tagged or not for iXBRL, don’t worry – we make the filing process a smooth one – and to make it even simpler you can use our Accounts Production module.
Self-Assessment
The Self-Assessment season is such a busy period for accountants. To help save you valuable time, don’t forget BTCSoftware’s SA302 tax calculation summary feature, which links to HMRC’s calculation. The SA302 gives a birds-eye view breakdown of how your client’s self-assessment tax is calculated.
It’s a real time-saver for our customers, especially when they’re up against a deadline.
Accessibility and security through backups to the Cloud
When using the cloud version of BTCSoftware’s products from a PC or Laptop, your desktop version of the software is “pointed” at our cloud database via a secure VPN. It means any work you do on your desktop version is automatically stored up on the cloud. You can then access it again when you login via our online apps.
In a nutshell, this means you can access your work securely from different locations and devices. Customers tell us it brings much relief – particularly if they experience any sudden problems with their hardware or are away from the office and need to resolve something quickly via their phone or a tablet.
Practice management – keeping on top of your important deadlines
Our practice management software comes with a built-in reminder system for key tasks and deadlines. There’s also event and task tracking functionality, so you can monitor your progress on certain pieces of work. It is fully customisable to suit your practice and allows easy export of dates for reporting and backup.
